cupholder question

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I've just received a cupholder which goes behind the handbrake. It's not in mint condition and it needs 5-10 minutes of attention to make it look better, but at least it's a genuine part.

My question would be: the plastic thing which holds the cup, should it have a spring to come up when the cover is pulled out or should it be lifted by hand?

It looks and feels pretty solid, but I can ask for a replacement if anything isn't ok with it.

It should pop out when opened.

by the way do not put any drinks in this cup holder. They will fall out.

What he said.

This is only useful if you're parked.

Never had any issues with a single can or sometimes something thinner like a Red Bull, just a bit awkward trying to grab it and put it back while driving

If it's the same as the Octy one, it doesn't work on cups, or water bottles, only 250ml and 330ml cans.

Even a can will fall over when you go round a corner.
