I have a choice of two cars both local to me i like the vrs trim but i also like my gadgets so not sure what to do ,

here is the spec of the two cars 

 

1, silver L&K saloon 2.0 tdi fsh 95,000 miles 57 reg all the standard L&K toys, £3,995 ono

 

2,race blue VRS saloon 2.0 pd tdi fsh 86,000 07 reg 18inch zeniths, rev parking aid,remap with dpf delete,£4,400 ono

but no jumbo no duel zone no electric rear windows

 

 

do i spend some money and put some 18 inch zeniths on the l&k or do i retro fit rear electric windows and the jumbo box(i know the vents wont work ) to the vrs 

not sure what to do as i like both cars .

Although I would be happy with either of those I would guess the VRS would hold its value better though the L&K may have had an easier life.

P.S I have looked into rear electric windows and it's not a simple job unless your name is Eddie. Jumbo box is a bit easier but finding the parts in good condition reasonably priced and complete is a task in itself.

L&K for me. You get all the toys, and for a nice easy remap you can have the power back too!

Actually thinking about it I would likely go for the L&k too, missing bits really annoy me and I am still gutted I never went for the elegance. Cost me more in retrofits so far than it would have been to just buy an elegance.

Thanks for the replys i think i will go and see the L&K , i have already seen the vrs it just didnt feel right the interior was grubby and looked like it had done 130,00 not 86,000 and with out the arm rest as both my previouse mk2 octavias 4x4 and tfsi vrs both had them and both had maxi dot 

 

the cost of retro fitting parts is stupid i would want maxi dot,jumbo box,and rear electric windows this would cost £100s,that money could be spent on a shark remap and some nice second hand 18inch zeniths there is a few on ebay around £300 mark and the L&K is cheaper with some movement on the price as well.
