Cheers Dave and Kevin!

Also - any other colours of cars with vRS wheels then let me have em!

MODS - any chance of it being "stickied"?

Also I sent an email via the "contact us" section - just incase its lost amongst the millions!

MODS - any chance of it being "stickied"?

And locked down so that only Tom can add to it - is this possible?

Steve

Looks good Tom  but you've forgotten one very vital thing, all the alloys need to be named so we know what they are.

The thread definatly needs to be made sticky so you don't have to search for it.

fabulous work Tom:)

fabulous work Tom:)

thats just because your car is in it ;)

What someone could do If they're bored and good with photoshop, is photoshop the 4 Colour vRS's (Sorry Non vRS Owners) with the various alloys so a good mix of cars and wheel styles can be had

What do you think????

The alloys name is not only in the post title but also in BOLD on the first line of the post.

As mentioned to those who have asked via PM I'm keen to keep the thread to photos only. Nothing to stop someone starting a similar thread in the photoshop section of the site though.

Note to all friendly mods/staff members:

I'm keen to turn this into a proper guide rather than a sticky. If someone could let me know how to go about it I'd be very grateful! ;)

If anyone can think of other info that could be added I'd be glad to consider it. I had thought about where to buy and cost, but as these change frequently I feel it should be left out. Also, it would be wrong to discriminate suppliers we weren't aware of etc.

Still think the Octavia v/RS alloys look the best, them and Dave_Fox's

On Shftys car are they Superlegs and are they 16"??

I've got them now, and yes, they're 16s.

Is anything happening to make Tom's hard work pay off to and make it a permanent thing or will it all be lost with time? :(

OK I have stickied the archive thread. Tom if there are any posts you need pruning or other maintenance, let me know - PM is probably best.

Tom, I have sent you a PM as I have a great picture of Fabia with Sportec Mono 10 alloys. You'll love them!!

Now they are nice

I have offered Tom a gallery on my website, just waiting for him to send me the pictures and info if he wants to.

I've recently fitted new rims but have only just got around to uploading some pics. They're 17" x 7.5" ET 37 Technomagnesio rims running on 215/40/17 Kumho KU31 tyres. I was offered the Kumho 712s or KU31s and I had the 712s on the original alloys and was happy with them, but I thought since they are phasing them out I'd be better off with the "new and improved" KU31's - :thumbdwn: big mistake. They're not a patch on the 712s and I will be glad to get rid of them. They have dangerous lift-off oversteer tendencies, just as well I'm used to going sideways from my old Nissan or they might have caught me out by now. Rubbish tyres

JUT - those alloys are gorgeous

Great for showing off the 312's too :D

And cheap like the budgie - £425 with tyres - plus an extra £5 to get the skoda badges from eBay

Sportec Mono 10 alloys - those are loverly, but expensive :/

Ok, I've been busy lately - but I am slowly compiling a guide to replace the alloys thread.

I will add a couple of pics/cars etc every night until its complete. I have got PM's from people which I haven't acted on - but I'm on the case.

Stu - when its all done I'll send you all the pics etc.

No probs mate.

I think you meant to type this:

1_Picture1.jpg

And you can barely see the wheels!

If that's your car, get out and take some better photos ;)
