Anybody else think that this looks totally cheap and nasty!? Those wheels and front splitter!

Don't hold back now. Get down off the fence and say what you mean.

You are right though in the realms of the Nova of old. Brows, different coloured alloys, body kits, big flappy falps.... It doesn't take much to make a reasonable car look bad and if you mix themall together well..........

We have to remember that the car is based abroad. Fashions are different in different areas. That said, if you follow fashion id doesn't always look good to others.

I quite like the wheels on the car but with everything else it looks a bit ***t.

Each to their own I suppose...

this is to anyone with 18's on thier fabia,

do your wheels rub anywhere, or did any mods need to be done, oh...and is the ride bone shattering! i would like to go for 18's but scared i might ruin my lovely ride, my other option is a nice set of 17's and some coil overs to get it sittin nice!

cheers. stu

There is something strange i can not post in the alloy archive

Not for a comment I want to place pictures

Hi ive just started driving a fabia comfort 1.4 8v hatch (Not the best at only 68bhp i know), and im looking to buy some new alloys to replace the stock ones ive got atm. I do not have a clue what alloys to go for or even what size i could fit, i dont want to have to change the springs, i just want some nice alloys to fit straight on. Ive heard that it will take 17s stock, but would these rub the arches?? I also dont have a clue what tyres to go for, so any advice would be great. Thanks!

P.S. What about the Wolfrace Toxin 17" in black (Alloy Wheels - Specialist supplier of alloy wheels and tyres packages, 0% Finance and Fast Delivery)

I am looking to color-code my standard vRS alloys, but I am not sure what color to choose. I am for something dark. My car is Black Magic. So I am considering one of these three options:

1. Black with shiny pearl effect (looks the same as car color);

2. Satin black, no shine at all;

3. Graphite / Anthracite (something like dark gray, don't know if this need shine or not).

What would you advise? There is a possibility that I'll be going for black chrome, which is awesome, but really expensive. I would definitely hurt a lot if any curb damage occurs.

how about a lowered fabia archive?

Why not start one?

There is a topic "Lowest fabias on briskoda" though, same kind of thing.

maybe start a new wheels archive thread?! None of the ones on the old one are viewable now! Im sure someone will host them (i will if needs be)

I run a mac and I cant see half of them either I don't think its a windows thing though.

:confused:Some good pics and some very nice wheels in there though

OK - I have spent a little time clearing out discussion from this thread as it was created merely as a gallery for people to show what wheels fit the fabia, and what they look like. If you must talk about a set please start a new thread. I will clean up this thread when I can to remove any non-piccie posts.

PICCIES ONLY PEEPS, ta.

Doesn't half make a difference.

Down from 7 pages to 4, good effort.

[A personnel opinion] hmmm, ive come to the conclusion to make a car look nice, it needs to be Lowered to the floor and have the right wheels for the look.

so ive spent ages and ages looking through vast shops for the right wheel, and cant decide what to get, i like to ahve 16s as im dropping the car around 60mm.

so i like the looks of the following:

The latest internet price on - Alloy Wheels - SSW - Mesh 2 -

POTN - If you are looking for an BK Racing BK550 7.0x16" Silver Set of 4 wheels and tyres New! click here BK Racing

or something similar with dish haha its so hard. any ideas?

many thanks

im on windows and all i see is the magical red cross :( shame.

the antera's were best mate, u got rid?

In answer to your question to save spamming up the picture thread.

No.

I still have them and will probably never sell them.

Got 4 sets of wheels kicking about the house/garage/outside just now.

They'll be back on once the weather is better.

Im just having a play with some ideas just now. :)

Hello,

With all these lovely original (Fabia VRS) alloys hanging around their owners sheds and garages, I would ask has anyone got an original alloy spare, off an Fabia VRS 2005, going very cheap, dont need to be a tyre fitted.

I seem to be fated recently by trying to move a kerb-edge with my near-side front wheel rim, (nasty) and twice in the same BL**DY place.

Thanks guys. 06/05/2009 :)

Hello,

Can't quite make-out if the number-plate is held on by plastic ties??

A honey-comb steel mesh of some descript should cover up a sensitive fly-catching radiator.

I rather like the white alloy wheels against the black paint-work, but is let down with pinky mudflaps, in black would be easier on the eye.

Going through the other thread couldn't see the alloys I'd probably buy for my future furby :) anyone got any pictures of Keskin KT1 preferably lowered on coilovers?. Just thinking of going euro'ish inspired, deep dish/low/smooth in places nothing over the top, just try and keep it subtle/smart :)
