But well done to qwik fit!!

Had some new tyres put on the car at universal tyres and they did the tracking for free.

Car was all over the road so I went to qwik fit and they put the Skoda bus on the hunter Hawkeye equipment as I watched the readings on a screen via the reception.

Front left was -.3 and the front right was..... +1.4. All in all took them 10 minutes, print showed camber was all correct too.

Was expensive but so worth it. Car handles better than it has in years.

Sorry confused, did they do the check for Free and the Adjustment was Expensive.

Or the tyres were expensive and the Alignment Check and Adjustment were Free.

DOH, sorry,

Got you, at the first place the 'Tracking Check and adjustment was free,

& you paid Kwik Fit to do an Alignment & Adjustment.

?

How much?

it was £56 but it's worth it. They give you a print out to which is very detailed

A tracking and alignment check is only as good as the equipment, the latest and greatest gear will always give the best results.

Is this price normal or expensive, I was wanting to get it done after ive got new (used alloys + tyres) and all suspension replaced.. just i haven't budgeted for £60 :(

And do  you know if all quick fit have a hunters, or only specific ones?

Expensive. Its a new toy. They will charge that for a yr or 2. To recoup costs prob. F1 autocentre charge 46

My local tyre place charges 20 lol. Using a hitech gear. But i dont trust them now for personal reasons
