Octavia Elegance 2.0 TDI Estate joins Autocar Long Term Fleet

Featured Replies

In this week's Autocar the magazine has taken on an Octavia Elegance 2.0 TDI Estate to their long term test fleet, it's a high spec DSG car which they reckon will do 1,000 miles a week. Be interesting to see their experience with it, I'm sure they won't be disappointed!

I'll be very interested to see just what they think of the rear suspension setup/handling/noise.

Its basically a stretched Golf Mk7 on a budget (though not that any Octavia is really "cheap" anymore).

I can almost predict what they'll say.....v good car, possibly all the big family car one needs but still not quite as good as a Golf.

DSG? There's bound to be some gripe relating to the stop/start.
