George theres a tesco momentum station at the edge of Blackpool. That is the only one in Blackpool that is simple and also the one I use as the flow is faster. . VrsForever lives a bit further over than me so will maybe get his from preston area.

 

George, There isn't a Tesco filling station in Preston - strange really for a largish town. Nearest to me is Tesco Marton in Blackpool just at the end of the M55  (Postcode FY4 4UJ or 53.794545, -2.990523 for your Satnav) which sells Momentum. There is a sainsburys in preston that sells 97 RON, but I don't like it personally.

If you want some company for a few beers on the Thursday night, I could well be tempted.

Wow! that's some going in one day! What time will you have to leave home? Its a round trip of 370 miles by my reckoning  plus a few 440 yards sprints down the Pod.

Must confess I couldn't do it. But then I'm old & knackered & always stick to the speed limits.

Yeah its a big trip but ive done similar before. Stonehenge and back, portsmouth. It gets to my back after a while but im ok after a break at services. Cruise control and an armrest helps, I have neither in the new car :(
