Another non Skoda thread from me!

Traded in my much loved RS as the BMW quality and comfort had really bitten me from my previous one. That and this was £6k cheaper than the focus!

Drove away in my lovely new white 135i coupe with red heated leather it has the N54 engine also found in the 335i so it's a 3ltr straight 6 twin turbo!

It was advertised as having 'upgraded intakes, down pipes and a remap'

So I took it straight to Performance Engineering in Cardiff after my 4+ hour drive home to find out what was actually done to it and what map etc it was running!

Being twin turbo it had quite a funky cone filter setup.

We found it had some very nicely made downpipes, the Burger Motorsports Cone filters, an alloy Burger Motorsports intake pipe, a Forge FMIC and wasn't in fact 'mapped' but ran a JB4 which is a posh tuning box most 135 boys run which has switchable mapping through the steering wheel controls, shift lights on the dash, data logging etc.

So a bit of a bonus! That forge FMIC is £800 alone!

It's probably running around 380bhp. A custom map and secondary cat delete could push 400 easy, but for now this thing is rapid! I love it, reminds me a lot of my M3 and sounds beautiful.

Haha! I think the M3 (E92) would maybe still out muscle it at mines current power but this feels much more nimble, I am quite tempted to bolt up the various M3 suspension bits and diff though

M3 rear end does help massively

Thanks everyone! As we said yesterday it looks pretty much like any other 1 series but is bordering on M3 fast, I love it!

Haha yes burger motorsports does sound a bit iffy, I think they're German

My old man had an 08 reg Space Grey one of these a few years ago, fantastic motor.

Has an M135i now...dont think there is anything quite like a BM 3.0 turbo straight six in a car this size.

Bet its a hoot with circa. 380hp!

I had one line up at a set of traffic lights next to me when I was bringing the Pulsar home. My god did it take off from the lights.
