I've been considering a set of these.

They seem to work great. Ordered a set last week so hopefully will arrive this week sometime!

Nice but I particularly like the anti speed camera device on the front number plate, gotta get myself one of those for the back of my car.

Not going to lose sleep over it, but slightly disappointed to find that these aren't standard.

 

Even my first car, a 2005 VX Astra, had gas struts on the bonnet. 

I've been thinking about getting a set they do look good

It a pity there on standard on a 24.000+ car

I got a set even before our car arrived and installed them right away. Works great but I was a bit disappointed they didn't come with washers.

Is it possible for someone to give me the part number off the gas struts( manufacturers part number not Superskodas )  please, or lengths ect.

I have loads of gas struts at work that i could possibly use rather than have to buy.

Fitted my Superskoda struts today, very quick and easy to install and work great, no crunching sounds thankfully!!! As has been mentioned before they don't come with washers, luckily had some in the shed that did the job but overall very happy with them and should make filling up the windscreen washer a lot easier when I have to do it.

You're hardly selling me the idea! Missing washers and crunching but you're still impressed? Wow. I do miss them though. They were standard on my 2005 vectra and should be now, especially as you need to top up the screenwash every few days.
