Just bought a Superb

Featured Replies

Hi Folks, just bought a MY12 Superb Estate SE 170. Have to say I am impressed with the space, comfort, the economy and the grunt available. It replaced a SAAB 9-3 and has much the same in the way of kit but overall feels a cheaper vehicle and is no sports car! Still, the SAAB was too small - this isn't.

Most urgent thing to sort is a hands free phone kit. It only has the Bolero and no under seat gubbins. What do I need to make it all work and compatible with a Samsung? I'm not into techy stuff but can plug things in and wire them up if I have to - just need to know what to look for.

Cheers.

Welcome!

Afraid I can't help with the Bolero etc, but sure someone will be along shortly :)

Warm welcome, madsuspensionsystems. Happy motoring with your new Superb which is a superb car. Unable to help you with Bolero but I'm sure assistance/ideas and tips on the way from other geeks here

A great move - I went from a Saab 95 Aero to a Superb Elegance 170 and have loved the car.

Welcome to the fold :)

I have the Bolero and the official Skoda approved Nokia (dealer fit) handsfree Bluetooth kit...

Connects to my Android phone perfectly.

I also went from a Saab 9-3 to a Superb and find that the Skoda is of infinitely better quality.

It is not difficult to retro fit the OEM Bluetooth kit to the Bolero, We have done it to my sons Superb very recently,  We got the loom and mic and Bluetooth ariel from Eddie-NL on Briskoda, he will be a massive help to you. The actual Bluetooth module are plentyfull on flebay, which network are you with? Some modules won't connect via Rsap to the 3 network sims. Some modules are Rsap only. I would recommend getting one that is HFP and Rsap compatible. 3C8 035 730 either the B or the C revision work with the 3 network on rsap. for at the very most around £180, but often much less you can get the full kit

Cheers
