I haven't done one of these noobie posts for a few years as I've had a Passat for several years.

Well what can I say, the old Passat 2.0 sport was getting a little bit long in the tooth being an 02 plate with 120k on the clock, still goes well tbh, but with a change of job the petrol engine was to expensive to run with all the miles I'm covering so I went and brought myself (yesterday) an Octavia VRS.

I got to be fair I'm enjoying the diesel torq from this car, sits nice on the motorway between 80 and 100.

I've got a few questions to ask so be nice to me when I post them in the tech areas.
