Interior Changes

Featured Replies

Ok so a few months back I set off trying to replace my standard cloth interior with either the leather or half leather seats from a vrs or elegance. Little did I know how hard this would actually be.

First things first I managed to grab a complete rear set from a vrs police estate. Seats were mint condition and fit like a glove Apart from the boot release cables which now hide under the seat.

Now for the main issue the front. These seats have been impossible to find even trying these online part finders came up with nothing.

Now to my question. Does anybody know if I could fit the seats from an audi A5 in to the octy or would they be a completely different lay out? I understand I should be able to fit the mk2 seats and potentially ones from the mqb platform but does anyone have any recommendations of what I should look into in terms of comfort And relative ease of fitment.

Thanks

I came across these whilst browsing articles about upholstery. I think the review was on the SEAT owners club site. From memory, they could offer a full retrim for about £800, because they already have patterns for many major makes. I have no connection with the company, I was just wondering whether I could upgrade the 'leather' in my vRS to proper cowskin, instead of semi-synthetic Skoda standard issue.
