im not a fan really but sure its a nice enough car

I'd rather have a Zonda.

I like the power gauge!

I like the power gauge!

I second that... if i had any power id love a guage like that.... as someone who flies i wish there were a lot more dials and switches in cars

How much are they? Is it about

You need a Renault then, they always seem to have so many buttons and things on them. Makes the Fab look very plain yet all you need is there and much more easily operated!

wouldnt give the furby up for renault! i know its easy to use... but i like buttons! its just me!!

Just wait though till some numpty puts an asda kiss on it from a vagrant trolley!!! Then well see mr buggattio cry in his beer at the cost of pulling the dint out lol

I think these things look cool, but can any car be worth the thick end of

I want to test drive 1 pref around all of Milbrooks courses :)

Is the fuel gauge in gallons.

And how long does it take to suck the tank dry?

Not sure about the front grille, looks like someone incorporated their cat transporting basket into the front end - high speed cat carrier (though a bit draughty :D )

Do you have the option of switching the "handling" off if you fancy a crash?

Why does the power gauge finish at 1001 instead of 1000?

Cos its the car for people who want that little bit extra?

maybe is has 1000 and a 1/2 bhp... IIRC it has near enough bang on 1000bhp so i suppose they didnt want it to be bouncing off the needle...

the grille is a queue back to the early Bugatti's.

just shows what VAG can really do doesnt it...

987bhp to be exact or 1001PS. But thats only a minimum. Apparently with the right conditions and fuel it`ll generate more like 1100bhp!

Got a first drive of it in last weeks autocar mag and the best stat of all is that if you give a Mclaren F1 a 10 second head start the Veyron gets to 200mph at the same time as the F1!  The F1 is already doing 135mph by this time!

All this talk of the new high speed Bugatti but no-one has asked the most important question yet... when is the Skoda version likely to be out :D

All that said i would rather have the F1. Just look at the original McLaren F1 and its a work of art, then the gold plated engine bay and the middle driving position. Its the ultimate dream car, this is just a fast GT, an engine better spent in a bently IMHO

thats true, the bugatti is more of a technical excersise than a true prduction car really. Although having said that so was the mclaren.

Because it has 1001bhp, not 1000bhp.

Very true about the mclaren, but i think for the time the individual components of the mclaren were way ahead. it was just a raw car, the bugatti seems a bit too twee and soft

The perfomance is even more amazing when you find out that the Veyron weighs in at nearly two tonnes.

Quad turbo W16, 1001 bhp, 235 mph.

252mph according to VW altho no-ones verified it. a spoiler deploys over 135mph to stop you doing more than 235mph. there`s a special key you have to use in the sill to turn off all the electrickery so it`ll do 252mph.
