I don't think you can change the kph readout as it's a requirement if you drive abroad. What you may be able to do is have the large MPH readout added to the MFD, and also where the mileage is shown you can, on some versions, add the cruise control speed as well as the mileage.

I have done the later on my FL and I find it very useful, but not all versions seem to be compatible with these settings. Pretty sure the large MPH readout needs to be set to 'ROW' or something similar, which you cannot do yourself. If you know someone with VCDS they may be able to help you. I asked my dealer to alter mine for the cruise control readout, which they insisted they couldn't be done, until I gave them the settings, then they reluctantly agreed to set it for me.

Its an EU requirement that our cars display both KPH and MPH, since the speedo only has MPH the KPH is displayed on the maxidot display.

It can be altered by using VCDS and setting the country code to Australia (it uses the same measurement units as the UK), then you get a large MPH display and a temperature where the KMH is displayed currently. This is not something a dealer can do for you, since it invalidates the type approval for the car in the UK.
