Finally my 15 reg Superb Elegance 2.0l TDI 170 DSG Combi in Pacific Blue arrived this morning. Only run around 35 miles so far, but I seem to be getting to grips with it - touch wood. Haven't played with Maxidot or Columbus yet, need to spend a few hours in the car with the handbook first!

Rear blinds and front wind deflectors ready to put on (+ Brisko badge, of course!).

One irritation - after unlocking remotely, only the driver's door is unlocked until the central locking/unlocking switch in the driver's door is pressed. Can't find anything in the manual (yet) to get all doors unlocking together.

Pleasantly surprised to like the Stop/Start function. I thought I would hate it, but it's actually quite useful! I just feel a bit sorry for the car behind me who (I assume) has to look at my brakelights until we move off.

Double click on the keyfob unlock button to open all doors...

I have mine set so all doors unlock with just one button push, and to auto lock once you are moving. You can easily set it up in the maxidot settings.

Door locking options are configurable in maxidot but use Simbo's suggestion in the meantime

As an OAP, I'm not sure whether I'm a wimp or a wuzzy. Perhaps both! Whatever, even the handbook confuses me. I think - mind's in a whirl now - the last handbook I had for a new car was my Austin A40. Slightly different now.
