Service Info 2.0 Elegance 06/2003

Featured Replies

Trying to find service info for said car on net is a pain in my arse. I have got service kit today ie filters and oil and plugs but can't seem to find any service info on that particular engine or model of car with that engine. Got fuel filter but buggered if i can find it in the engine bay as there are 2 types which are fitted so bought both to avoid hassle . Some one picked up Haines manual for me back along but found out model is not covered so had to be returned. Also can you reset service inspection display yourself or is that a garage job?

Cheers Jim

It is the exact same engine as found in millions of Golf 4's, I think it's the AZQ from memory, bog standard 8v 2.0 litre 115 PS, simply pretend you have a Golf of the same age when looking for engine service parts.

Fuel filter will be near tank, not in engine bay, I think. Just in front of offside rear wheel.

AZL will be the engine code, or possibly BBX.

Service reset is hold down (and keep holding down) the trip zeroing peg and then switch ignition on. Keep pressing it in until the display changes to ----- .
