Hi I have 2005 model of Skoda Octavia 1.9tdi with DSG transmission. I had problem with the brake and the car did´t  want to drive. I have fixed the brakes and now the car don´t want to start and don´t even show up the transmission light on the dashboard. now I have read out of the car and I get (18034 P1626 missing message from transmission control
) can any one tell what I have to do to fix this so I can start to use this car agen! :)

I don't know anything about the DSG transmission unit but I happened to see on an Audi forum this fault code was due to a lack of 12 V to the transmission control unit. I would check the fuses and grounds, starting at the battery fuses and working down from there.

Faulty fuse or loose couplers maybe. Pls recheck everything.
