Briskoda name - what does it stand for?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Forgive me if this has been asked before - I did search through prior to posting, but drew a blank.

Basically, what does the BRI part of Briskoda stand for?

Thanks

StuM

It's formed from overlapping the words "Brisk" and "Skoda". :)

Rob.

It's short for Brian Redmonds Incredible Skoda.

ColinD the Briskoda boss is actually called Brian Redmond in real life and runs a salmon farm in Warrington.

Helpful as ever

We should really add it to this page

Thanks

Shame I don't eat fish as having a salmon supplier would no doubt come in useful at some point or other.

Cheers

LOL' date=' Salmon farm ...... Warrington :D I live in Warrington and the closest you would get to a salmon farm is the odd mersey trout floating through Widnes :D:D:D

Briskoda is an unusual name though don't you think, quite classy, much better than the usual net fair like

fluff'

And there's me thinking it was Bri- pronounced like Bri-an. D'oh!

Nope, brisk, as in nippy, quick, speedy, shifts, fast, etc :D

Sorry, but anyone who pronounces it bry-skoda hasn't seen the light regarding the "brisk" element.
