Is it straight Propane injection you've went for or an LPG conversion.

Getting propane injected as well as running with diesel.Hope to get about 20% power increase

LOL. Well, back at work believe it or not. Had a productive work day "out of the office" though ;):D

Yes, I've been all round the M25 (well half of it) and it's working fine

Considering mine's organic, I can abuse from the start, no need to "run it in" either. :P

And by sheer and pure coincidence, a certain owner of a certain unmodified red octy RS popped in to say hi to me :D

Mike (from the garage) was more than helpful and even spotted two problems when the engine was half dismantled too. 1) the FMIC inlet pipe had been pushed back and had been rubbing against the right wheel drive shaft  worn a nice smooth round notch out of the pipework and hose, but not perforated. Phew!

2) I have an oil leak. We think (and hope) it's from the filler cap. If not, it's from the rocker cover or there's a gasket problem

Anyway, back on topic ;)

Pedal feel is exactly as before

The "grab point" of the clutch is closer to the fully released pedal. Took me a bit of getting used to, but it's fine

And the snatch is a little harsher than the OEM clutch, but you can still slip it perfectly for those hill starts without a problem. Required just a little more accurate left foot technique :D

There's a slight vibration when it's slipping, but I think that's more of a wearing in vibration which will ease out as the clutch usage goes up.

All in all, I'm very happy.

Not the cheapest of clutch changes as I went for the uprated pressure plate, but cannot fault professionalism nor the quality of the product.

Highly recommended. In fact so recommended, I may well be going back there for one final "tweak" ;):D :D :D (and it won't be the clutch)

 :D

Good to hear Xav!

But obviously anything that doesn't need running in can't be any good?! ;) :P

Tuning Japanese OH NO !

glad to hear that you are on the road again Xavier.Sorry to hi jack the tread but what do you know about Tuning Japanese stuart. They had alot of very nice cars there but i got to admite there rollers gave some very strange torque figures which when i pointed them out to tim he said that there rollers where right and the others where wrong which seemed very arrogant and stupid to me. :thumbdwn:

 back at you :D

I'm getting used to it now. As I said, not particularly cheap if you get the pressure plate at the same time, although it makes sense doing it when you look at the work involved in changing it over

Will post some more feedback once I've experienced it over a longer period of time. Oh and after it is has more torque to deal with too :)

You boys

I'm so glad I don't have as much power as you lot - my clutch was changed 65k miles ago and is only just starting to slip :P

But don't you get a new clutch with every new SDI engine replaced under warranty?
