Where is the MAP sensor?

Featured Replies

Anyone tell me please where it is on Roomster 1.6 CR Tdi 105hp?

Getting an Implausible signal fault on VCDS.

Do you mean MAFF sensor?

I believe there are to sensors in the inlet side.

The MAF (mass air flow) near the air filter and the MAP (mass air pressure) on the top of the intercooler in the front drivers side wing behind the fog light.

The MAF seem to be more troublesome out the two.

my understanding is the MAP sensor senses boost pressure and temperature, I think it is a pain in the rear to get at as well

but others on here will be able to confirm that

Thanks for both replies, it's definitely MAP.  Just done 200 mostly motorway miles without a problem.   I hate intermittent faults.
