Lowering your Skoda Rapid Sport

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, I've just joined after picking up my slightly used ex demonstrator Skoda Rapid Sport from Wayside Watford today. I used this forum to try and research how I could lower it after I had bought it. In my opinion it's the only let down about the way it looks. To cut a long story short I mentioned this to Wayside when I paid my deposit last week and when I went in today to collect it the service manager came over to me and told me that they had a Skoda approved set of lowering springs in stock and for the very reasonable sum of £250 inc fitting and VAT and they could fit them in 2hrs. I immediately jumped at the chance and after a little over 2 hrs I was the proud owner of a Rapid Sport, lowered by 25 mil and looking just right. The springs are covered under a separate warranty and do not effect the cars warranty in any way. I know there was much speculation over warranty and if Skoda approved any kits, well they do and it's great!!
