Well here is a photo of the bike yesterday after I'd fitted the levers, new mirror and the rear pyramid hugger. I have a carbon fender extender on order and after that I can't really think of anything else that needs to be done... Any suggestions let me know!!! Note the single seat cowl and handles are back on because the better half comes out a lot with me now, she loves it and the VFR is a dream two up.

Today I also went on the Bike for Life 2016 ride out for Air Ambulance, there was a 20ish mile ride out on a closed motorway which Steve Parish led and then a festival at RAF Cosford where James Toseland's band played, spitfire fly over and stunt display etc. It was an amazing day and all for a good cause. Here's a photo from the start point, lots of bikes out of shot as well. An estimated 6-7 thousand bikes!!! I even got to have a little chat with Steve Parish.

Crickey. That is a good turn out to the meet aswell... Very good. I do feel the same as Chris towards this. It shouldn't be a charity, but its good to see all teh support 

VFR is looking great there, some nice additions.

That's a proper looking bike meet, makes the briskoda meet of 3 look a bit amateur !!!

 

We could always turn up to that Brisky car meet.. 

 

We can practice standing in a circle and talking about how awesome the brand is.

Just noticed this and it is a prime example of why my school reports always said Christopher must try harder!  Of course the above should have read Suzuka 8 hour but for some reason my tablet decided it didn't need to!  My fault for not checking though.  Oh and just for completeness Suzuka 8 hour is the 'very' large breakfast available at Chris Walker Kawasaki in Grantham.

 

There was some discussion between Fabiamk11SE, Madrunner and myself about giving Trading Standards a call as we had serious doubts about whether or not anyone who has ever raced in the event had one of them breakfasts before hand or whether in fact the breakfast would last 8 hours before you need to eat again.  Not too sure about the first point but I can categorically say that the answer to the second point was no it doesn't last 8 hours as both myself and Mad wanted cake later but sadly I took them to a cafe that was closed.

I did wonder what a suuka hour was...Sooooo embarrasing for a cake ninja... have you looked to see if there's a cake app in the play store?

Ade there was more cake than you could shake a stick at when we were at Chris Walker's.  Sadly the 8 hour meant that you can't eat cake for 8 hours!  Next time I will have the cake first and then see what room I have for bacon or sausage................or cake.

They definitely need to re badge the 8 hour breakfast. Quality it was 8 hours of hunger suppression it was not.

As I am a simple soul, I keep things straightforward. Ask a sensible price for well kept vehicles and decline offers. Saves loads of hassle.
