ARB Modification Advice Needed

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I know this has been discussed time and time again but I can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for.

Recently I lowered my Octavia MK1 1.9TDI on FK AK Coilovers. Found my 'Happy Height' as i call it for performance and asthetics. Only I've hit one slight problem.. Yes you may sigh.. The ARB is rubbing against the driveshaft.

Not my picture but its identical apart from the adjustable drop link.

Now I've heard many people say fit a TT, R32 or S3 ARB but I know they're designed for strut mounted droplinks. Is this the best way? and if so how do you mount the droplink to the wishbone? can i use the standard droplink or will i need to fit an extended on etc. Even better if there is a more simple option.

Thanks in advance.

Ive fitted airlift struts on my vrs so know for a fact that you can just use either a vrs or a TT ARB with the standard drop links as thats what I've done
