I would propose George!

A New section in the programme exposing Post Launch Lemons etc. More Teeth and more focused than Watchdog!

Would, imo have the effect of raising quality standards still higher and  making  Manufacturers more accountable to CUSTOMERS!

Come on BBC have some real balls and go for it!

I would start watching Top Gear again with George in the team.

No chance of that happening.  Top Gear is an entertainment programme and has very little to do with real world motoring.  In my opinion the appointment of Chris Evans as a presenter points to the format continuing as before.  I gave up watching Top Gear years ago when it degenerated into 3 big boys carrying out (sort of) car related stunts paid for by the BBC.

I would not watch it,

that is about as stupid an idea as anything i could come up with.

Can i get on the Classic Car Club with Penny Mallory please?

I can't see the point in them getting him to take over the whole show, producing it too just to keep it was it was.

The BBC think they had a winning formula with the format of Top gear and hence want to reproduce the same with different presenters.  Personally I think it was cr*p as a motoring programme but possibly OK as entertainment for 'the lads'.

But if they wanted to do that, surely they'd have just got Chris in to present? Not to produce too

Where as I, and I suspect millions of other viewers, wouldn't.

I think you're right however I did quite like it. Tired as it was getting.

It was a bit like the Simpsons, 10 episodes of meh and the occasional jem.
