Rubbish radio reception

Featured Replies

OK - I stand corrected - never listen to radio in my car (apart from traffic alerts)

Ok so after connecting my booster thing up originally it made zero difference to my signal. Earlier today i tried again. My remote live is 3volts and is to power steering wheel controls (if your car has them) so i connected to a 12volt supply and hey presto perfect signal. I then wired it in properly then the signal when bad again. Now the signal is poor with the booster powered up but fine without it.. Wtf.

Before my ownership the previous owner had alot of work done at a car audio place theres extra wiring behind the dash. Is it possible to power the built-in booster without an inline booster thing? Assuming you were clued up like a specialist car audio place
