£34.95 for 5 litres at CYC.

£41.58 for 7 bottle equivalent (5.25 litres) at ECP with the discount...

However, if you only want one bottle to test, it is a great price from ECP. CYC have dropped their price and are still significantly more.

Do you have a delivery date as it's been out of stock quite a while?

Can't see a date on the order acknowledgement, but I'm not in any hurry to receive it. I've got half a bottle left of BSD and I've been using autoglym rapid detailer also.

Hoping I get a bottle, this is contained in the email I received on Friday after ordering

"Please note that this e-mail is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your order and our contract to supply these items is not complete until we notify you that the items have been dispatched to you"

Update

Despite showing out of stock & despite not receiving an email to say order accepted, UPS have just delivered it. They've got to be making a loss?

My two bottles turned up today also

Just used the BSD on a cool panel in a comparison with Adams detailing spray which I got from a new friend ;)

The BSD was not as easy to use as the Adams. They both looked the same, so I couldn't see any difference. I'm going to use the BSD on door shuts etc & buy the Adams full size.

Thanks for that buddy. Appreciate it. How is the water behaviour of the Adams? Is it similar to BSD or is it more of a regular quick detailer?

I've not tried it to be honest. But my limited experience would say the Adams is a proper QD, the Sonax is more like a thicker product, ie not a QD, more like a spray sealant.

  • 2 weeks later...

I ordered a couple of bottles of BSD . The 15% deal didn't work but I found a code that gave6.5% off. Arrived 3 days after placing the order even though I too had the messages about out of stock and email as stated above.

looks like i've missed all the fun with not checking in quite so much.

back on topic though thanks to the op for the post, ECP look like they have increased the amount of detailing lines they carry at least slightly.  Wont be troubling the specialist detailing suppliers but a useful option if only for the free delivery if you can wait a few days.

Theyve been selling Sonax for quite a while now

Cant say Ive bought any from them, as I tend to buy in bulk, but their offers are pretty good every now and then

Theres a new one opened near me , so delivery is not needed anyway

Such a negative post, and so sad that you find it funny and pleasurable to get someone banned from this forum. From a sponsor too (edit: not a sponsor any more), a real shame to see this behaviour on such a freindly part of the forum that used to be able to accomodate everyone.

Back on topic.

Yes buddy, the free delivery is great and some of their bulk megs products are handy too. I'd be very surprised ifg they went the whole hog and become a major detailing supplier in a saturated market, but it is very useful they stock things like this.

Its the way of the world Hunty

You get on with some, not with others....and that works for others too

You dont get banned for doing nothing.

Pretending to be someone else is OK is it?

Also..You dont know the History/all the facts

Lets leave it there shall we

Thankyou

Two wrongs don't make a right. And gloating about it and rubbing it in is just disrespectful. Like a said, a real shame and was quite unnecessary. Whatever floats your boat though Chris, I get my kicks in other ways.

Yes, lets leave it there.
