I ordered a octavia 1.6 se diesel dsg car on the 19th July hoping to get in around 3 months when I ordered through dealer he said it would come with the free upgrade to cruise control was a £0 option when viewing the online configurator when checking the online configurator now says it a £200 option on the se can anyone confirm if my car will or will not have cruise many thanks

You should be fine, as it would have been an offer at the time, similar to the free upgrade they were running on the vRS around the same time, offering free upgrade to Amunsden but it wasn't on the website!

 

Only way to be sure is to ask the dealer again to make sure!

You should get it if it was available on your build week. Skoda keep changing things!

What is shown on your order?

You'll always get fitted to the car a minimum of whats on offer at point of order, you'll get as a maximum whats being produced on the week of build.

 

You will pay what is agreed at point of order unless you spot a better offer between point of order and build week and you ask the dealer to switch you to that offer. 

 

The dealers will not change your deal for your benefit without you asking them too.

Cruise control and the 4 spoke MFSW have been listed as standard options on the SE since the end of March by the online configurator. I think someone here reported that the offer would end at the end of June, which does appear to have happened. If you ordered on 19 June (Is the date above a typo?) then they should be included. If you haven't yet ordered then you're probably out of luck.
