Amphibious yetis

Featured Replies

Anybody else tow the boats with yetis out there just finished a holiday in Cornwall and towed the boat down with us.

Saw a F/L black yeti launching a small sailing yacht in mylor Falmouth so got me thinking how many others go afloat via the yeti.

Here's my 5.8 rib under tow by the yeti.

Not current, I know, but you're 'old' enough here to remember Bobdog (he of the notorious 'Corner', and still missed).  A couple of years ago he posted a pic of his 'new' gunter rig, which must sometimes have been (still be?) hooked up to his Yeti around the Broads

yeah, got several classic uk dinghies here, gp14, seadog, nymph, ubiquitous mirror job which enjoy trips out living not too far from the coast!

Did I spot you heading south on the M5 on Saturday, with the rib!

Occasional tower to regattas for the South Queensferry Rowing Club who have 2 St Ayles skiffs - 23ft traditional looking boats powered by 4 rowers + cox.  These boats are community builds & there are now over 100 round the UK.

Here's my MAC570, c/w 115hp Yamaha, out from winter storage

That looks like it ought to be one of those Rig Rescue Pods but with a convertible hood!

(Sorry!)

Here's maybe a slightly better view, they're not meant to be pretty but built for hardwork and durability

At first glance I thought it looked very much like a jet ski on steroids.

(Almost) As much fun on water, as the Yeti is on land!

I prefer "ditchcrawlers"!

I can see the evidence standing upright at the back for all the "hard work" - not that I'm jealous of course!

Nor me...  :envy:
