Bit of an 'fail' in the New Hybrid era if you forget when you have to not use the ICE.

Or choose to not be in Electric mode because there is a bit of a delay between going from one mode to another so just don't do it!

The penalties will have to be severe enough to mean that drivers / teams are not deciding when to cheat or ignore rules.

The non 'green' cars are still about giving it laldy without the kidology.

Loeb is truly magnificent although the other Seb, Ogier nearly had it and I was so please Bream made up the podium.

Well done to Mikelson in the WRC2.

Hybrid cars, with their 130 hp of extra electric motor push adding to the 380 hp ICE power seem to zip through the course OK.

Very short development time so should get better over next races.  Only a 4 kWh battery so vey much a hybrid system to give better acceleration despite the 100% non fossil fuel being used.  I presume the 0-60 is less than 2 seconds on dry tarmac.

No longer using the donor car chassis, only its name and external dimension but nice strong chassis to cope with those inevitable big crashes.

Shame no UK round but should make some good telly this year.

Time for a new thread?

This one was about the new cars coming in 2017.

Now we have another completely new Formula...Hybrid WRC.

BTCC going hybrid this year as well I think?

They are.

A Title change to WRC 2022 changes would be job done.

Or somebody could start a new thread if they can be bothered.   maybe somebody that already suggest a new Title.
