Quite looking forward to Ogier v's the Hyundais, but will it actually be at all competitive?

As far as I can see (in the video above) the best driver by a long way has now got his hands on the absolute fastest car.

With decent reliability 2020 could be a walkover.

I have a strong feeling that Ogier will reign supreme again this year. The C3 just wasn't right for him.

Toyota line up looks as impressive as Hyundais in my opinion. Rovenpera making the step up from The Skoda Fabia R5 in WRC2 will be interesting to see how he adjusts to the full WRC.

Agree Toyota have improved their driver line up and Tanak moving to Hyundai has given them a good chance with both driver and team titles this year.

The C3 hasn't proved really effective for anybody who's driven it for what 4 years? If Ogier couldn't win the title in it I doubt anyone could. After all he was champion in the privateer Fiesta before Ford came back on board as a works entrant. The Toyota was the fastest car all last year and with better reliability Tanak would have wrapped up the title much quicker. I suspect we are about to see the WRC equivalent of Senna in a Mclaren or Vettel in a RedBull as Seb O smashes the others out of sight.

Massive crash for Tanak good to see him and his co-driver walked away from a very scary looking accident.

Watching live coverage on BT Sport right now. Evans and Ogier identical times after 200km and 11 stages in the Toyota's.

I've been meaning to ask this for over a year but as it's now 2020..... how come we're still using a thread entitled "WRC changes for 2017"?

Dave this is AKA the Groundhog Thread.

So Ogier got the lead off Evans yesterday, but the Welshman is in front again now. Top 3 (including Neville) covered by just 6 seconds.

None of the Rally fans can be bothered starting a new one? To be honest I don't use this thread much really as it's so data hungry with all the embedded video.

Neuville passes Evans for the lead Ogier 3rd. It's gonna be close
