Quick one, asking on here as it's quite an odd question... does anyone know if a R10W bulb/LED and RY10W are interchangeable, or is there an actual difference between the two? Can't seem to find RY10W LEDs anywhere!

The bases are different.

 

R10W is BA15s

RY10W is BAU15s

The pins are offset differently between the RY10W and R10W so they are not interchangeable.

 

Search Google images for BA15s and BAU15s for more illustrations.

 

 

 

Quite a few RY10W LED's available on eBay but mainly from overseas sellers...
