Driver murders fellow driver

Featured Replies

What is wrong with the world?

Very scary if it was a random incident, as he was driving the car in front, it is possible that it was targeted.

Breaking news,

A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after driver Don Lock was fatally stabbed after a crash in Sussex.

The 79-year-old victim was killed near a garden centre at Rogers Farm on the A24 near Findon, West Sussex at about 20:40 BST on Thursday.

Sussex Police said a man from Worthing was arrested by armed officers on Friday afternoon.

If ever there was a reminder as to why it's a good idea to own a DVR.  Just in case.

Atrocious crime.  My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Gaz

Yes the world is going mad deepest sympathy to his family and all who new him.

Very sad.

Anyone who stabs another person with a knife, must surely have the intention of killing them.

There is such a fine line between life and death when puncturing the human body with a metal instrument. One that cannot be accurately measured by a knife wielding loony.

Should be treat as attempted murder.

Should be treat as attempted murder.

Since 79-year-old Don Lock died as a result of the stab wounds, it clearly wasn't just an "attempt".

According to Press reports he died as a result of multiple stab wounds sustained during a frenzied attack.  In English law, Murder occurs where one person kills another with the intention of unlawfully causing either serious injury or death. It is difficult to believe that in this instance the "knife wielding loony" failed to realise that multiple stab wounds were going to result in very serious injury at the very least.

This may not have been premeditated but who carries a knife around in their car?

Road rage is such a depressing manifestation of modern day stress, impatience and intolerance.

I can't imagine how awful this must be for Mr. Lock's wife, family and friends; my deepest sympathy goes out to them.

Post #7 has brought up the subject of another attack with a knife where there was not a death.
