ABS Loom Replacement

Following on from my two previous threads.

The garage have informed me that water has got into the cable, and oxidised the copper inside the shielding. (hardly surprising considering the repair they did last time)

They're going to strip it back and repair as far as possible, but ultimately recommend replacing the loom.

A replacement loom is available, but looks like it needs soldering in? Or does it just need pins crimping on the end and then plugging into the ABS multi plug?
