Offered just £11,245 on my 13 reg Vrs Blackline with only 20,300 miles.  They just don't get it.

I was offered £9,000 at the beginnning of June for my 10 plate vRS with 19,000 and jus been offered £7790 wtf! Surely it's not dropped £1200 in a month?

It's just an offer from one company - no compulsion to accept it.  Your car is worth what some-one will pay for it.

Sounds good to me that's what I would say mine is worth you might get more private but they have a business to run overheads etc.

I have been offered £12k as trade in for new VRS which I accepted. I was offered 11k trade in against a jaguar XE

Seem to recall they offered me £280 for my old Fabia - I got £1200 for it on a private sale...

What is the point of this thread?????. As for they have no idea, I think the op has no idea, at the end of the day, they are a business with cost's as said above. Also said above a car is only worth what a person is willing to pay. At the end of the day, the blackline is nothing more than a VRS with black wheels.

Actually the Black Neptunes were a regular option on the mk2 FL vrs so not even that unique although I don't know of any that had the full leather other than the Blackline which makes them a bit more unique and they do come up on the computer as a blackline when you do you insurance etc so it is a specific model and this does reflect in the resale value on webuyany car etc. But I take your point there isn't a limited number plaque in the vehicle like a VRS LE so shouldn't make a massive difference.

If you were desperate you might take it, quids in for them.

WBAC are owned by Bedford Car Auctions, all cars sold to WBAC are put through auction. Since auction prices are lower than trade and they need to make a profit, the price offered will typically be less than what you would get at auction.

Sometimes they prices stupidly low because in reality they do not want the car, especially older ones.

I thought it was British Car Auctions? That's where we used to take their cars.

They gave me £300 odd for a 52 plate corsavan. I bit their hand off, seeing as I'd just thrown 2 bottles of k seal in and it still wasn't running right.
