Some folk are never happy

Based on what I see driving in Ireland you wouldn't think there was anything bigger than a D5 available from Volvo, or that anyone makes big petrol engines anymore... Then you go to Zurich and see an S500 Merc being used as a taxi from the airport - sadly I needed a train instead :(.

S500 cool. Now there's a taximan with a bit of style.:)

Assuming it doesn't have an old CDi engine stuck under the bonnet that put in after a few years. Wouldn't be the first S500/600 badged model I've seen with a diesel rattle when it's fired up - still a lovely car of course!

Back in the day taximen put Datsun engines into old S classes :(
