Why would my 'Travelling Time' display change from 'Since Start' to 'From Last Refuel' and back to 'Since Start'? Anybody else had this happen?

Because you're selecting theses different times.

Every time you press the trip computer's "adjustment wheel" (to use the manual's terminology - it's the little knurled wheel on the right hand side of the steering wheel), as opposed to just turning it, it switches from one display to the next.  If you're not doing that, then it's hard to understand why it's switching between modes.

Thanks for the replies chaps. I can't remeber what I did to change it, I'll hae a look in the manual again and see if it can enlighten me.

Are you talking about the display on the instrument cluster or the display in the entertainment unit?

 

For the instrument cluster (or Multi Function Display) you can change the information on the screen using the small roller switch on the right hand side of teh steering wheel. (roll up or down to change & click down to select)

 

For the entertainment unit there should be big left & right arrows in the "vehicle" menu to scroll betwee "Time since start", "Time Since Refulleing" & "Long Term" display.

As I don't have a multifunction steering wheel I thought I woukd investigate further. Turns out there's a flat button on the bottom of the stalk with the wiper controls that also scrolls through these settings! Cheers guys, would never had known it could do this without this forum!
