Going in to a Bus Lane after a collision?

Featured Replies

You'll be fine with the bus lane thing. You were moving your car out of the carriageway so as not to cause obstruction. Had the police attended they would've asked you to do the exact same thing.

You may get a ticket through as sometimes these things are automatic, but just respond to it stating that you were in an accident and you won't have to pay anything. The ongoing claim is the proof of the accident.

You can be done for fraud if you really have no neck injuries, most insurance companies now send you through a company called argent that send you to registered  physios, they can tell within 1 minute if you are really injured or trying it on.  . If like me they asses its real you will have a course of physio  and then some compensation. A handler would look at the rear of your car and note the minimal impact you had, id be very careful with a compo claim for an injury you really do not have.

My neck pain was only for a few days, still it was an injury. I'm doing no fraud buddy & I know how injury claims work.

I got read ended (oh myyyyyy) at probably the same sort of impact speed, zero damage to my old SAAB 900SE but the fiesta was a real mess. I had to claim for injuries to my back. And I quote  "Compacted" 3 discs in my back, which wasn't pleasant and also gave me other issues. Doctor told me to take paid killers but it went on for weeks after the accident. Had to pay to see a specialist though the local government contact.......so glad I did as it got me sorted out.

Anyway my point to my post, yes do not claim for no reason but do make sure that you are actually ok as 6 years on I still have back issues.
