Ok so we have some interest in a possible Group Buy. I count 9 people interested (me, Walkie, Mannyo, Wardy, VerrErrEss, Magnum67, Willbones, Sam Tan & Robsonalan).

However I have never been involved in a GB before, so how does it work? Do we need a candidate to step forward in representation of Briskoda and barter a discount?

Cheers,

Grant

There are guidelines here

Does anyone know of any issues relating to clutch slip?

Think everyone gets it after a remap.

I've had none yet. Done over 10K

Excellent.

My mate Mike, with the '02 Mk IV Tdi130 is VERY intersted. I'll see if he's up for it when I go over on Saturday to fit the Green Filter and PD160 intake (which arrived at my Seat dealer within 48 hours of ordering).

Verr.

I am supprised that places like Awesome GTI and JBS Do not offer group discounts on this forum. Would it be worth someone contacting them???

Where is this group by upto? I dont kmind contacting companies on peoples behalf but i need to know how many people we've got and who to contact. Is this group buy in the pipeline or has it been fogotten about.

How far down south are we talking here. I live in scotland. I maybe interested, but would depend on fuel costs whether it would be worth my while.

I will keep an eye on this however.

i dont think u would have to travel with the duel system remap u just get them to send the unit to u. And send it back after u have taken the serial off your ecu.

Saves the miles on the car :)

Oh right. Think i need to read a bit more about this system.

Cheers

I'm still up for the GB on a One-Click.

Not interested in this group buy but I thought I'd just get my thoughts in. I looked at AMD because they're just round the corner from my house, having asked aroudn on here I remember someone "in the know" saying they werent interested in doing discounts or group buys.

AmD don't do discounts/group buys for forums....I've already asked. Even asked Ross to ask on a separate occassion. Not interested.

Sod them then, imo.

Would be a good oportunity to get in with the Fabia lot again.

Cheers for the info

AMD 1 click adds approx 35BHP & approx 45 lb/ft torque, there was a group buy around a year ago and the price came in at
I would be interested in a One Click at that price if there is a group buy going down ;)

Doh!

Everyone go and take a look at the AMD group buy that is under consultation.

I spoke to AMD back in october about a one-click, the best deal that they could do was to knock off the VAT from the 499+VAT price tag, well i suppose its better than the full price, and they gave me the option of travelling down there or they would send me the unit to record my car details and send it back to them, and they would then return the unit with a generic remap loaded.
