right, gonna log with vag-com

i see block 120 for torque and 115 for boost, any idea on the block for AF ratio?

FWIW Autodata CD2 gives the following info for those codes:

17705 (P1297) - Turbocharger (TC0/throttle valve, hose connection - pressure loss. Prob cause - hose connection.

16804 - Catalytic converter system, bank 1 - Efficiency below threshold. Prob cause - catalytic converter.

I see that the WRX is relatively new. For comparison since it is of relevance, what mileage has your 4X4 done, bengie?

Time for a new contender. Hope your cars OK Bengie.

the WRX is a 55 plate and my 4x4 has 108,000 miles on it :)

just done some logs and the results i got don't exactly inspire me with confidence, on lowest i am getting 191lbft which i am happy with but on the lowest setting i am getting 223lbft on the highest setting. when it was re-mapped jabba gave me a peak figure of 256lbft and said after getting the turbo back system fitted the torque would rise not fall :(

my bhp figures according to vag-com are lower too peaking at 200bhp for the highst setting compared to jabba's 226bhp again pre new exhaust. :(

maybe my car isn't running right

is it possible that my wastegate is leaking?? hence the whistle i am getting

after seeing these logs i am now thinking my car isn't running at full power and would like to sort it out but i don't have the spare cash laying around to pay someone to check my car over :(

Perhaps you should of done these logs before accepting a race :D

Only joking mate, hope you sort the gremlins

IIRC torque drops with a free-flowing zorst...

surely both torque and bhp shouldn't drop though.

crank up the power and head on down....you know you want to :P

Well as this bog-standard WRX wagon seems to be the benchmark against which all Skoda's are measured, it'd be interesting to put a standard and modded up Fabia vRS (and possibly stupidly modded!) against it ;)

My classic Scooby turbo would pull away from a bog-standard 2005 WRX ;)

Bengie - Both Stuart and I also had the lambda problem after the blueflame exhaust. You either need a spacer on the post cat lambda sensor or the sensor switching off in the ECU. When on Revo I went with the first option which worked well but now I have Custom-Code the sensor is switched off as it's only purpose is to monitor emmisions not AFR (which is done by the pre cat lamda).

Also I don't agree with the comment about the turbo back exhaust reducing torque considering I now have around 280ftlb.

You need to sort the DV fault before bothering with any more logging.

Also just to add the fault on the lambda doesn't effect performance you just get an annoying light.

eddy, is the trning off of the lambda probe something i can do with vag-c or is it pro only?

It can only be done by programming of the ECU, not even sure if Jabba can do it as Stuart has had the problem a long time.

Also forgot to add, the secondary lambda sensor on our cars must be over-sensitive as my car passed an emmisions test no probs.

is it just me or does it seem in both races the cars are equel off the line(lookin at goochies vid hes a head at the start cause you can see the scooby in the rear view mirror) then once they get going the impreza then gets ahead when most people said thats when the skoda would be faster

In summary,an impreza is far quicker in a straight line race, so, add some bends and the gap would be huge.

Sorry,I'm just a bit disappointed :( .

*edit.. Bengie, get it fixed and give it another go
