don't get me wrong i got beat and not dennying it but as my turbois making a right funny old noise but still making pressure any chance that could have affected it?

If you have access to vagcom then logs of boost and timing over a similar sort of run would help highlight any possible problems.

The WRX is totally standard. He looked at the PPP but decided he would add it later when he gets bored of standard power.

The car is only 4 months old so there are no warranty-voiding mods what so ever.

You can see the same 3rd gear surge in both videos. I wonder if its not actually the Scoobie surging ahead but the Octavia's running out of puff.

according to jabba it was 226bhp and 256lbft before getting the turbo back sstem fitted

I'll give some better instructions after work but you go into the engine module and then measuring blocks and save the relevant blocks to a log file (the more you select the slower the sample rate) boost is block 115 IIRC can't think of the others of the top of my head.

on the way over i had my engine light on, i had the following codes:

17705 and 16804

i understand the 17705 is DV so i might service it but exactly is the other one? vag-com says lambda sensor 1, check cat!
