hello all i know it been asked but where is the diagnostic socket on a 2007 skoda octavia a picture would be great each time i look on the web for info for the place it isn't where they say it is very frustrating thanks for any help 

Under the dash, above the gas pedal (right hand drive) - closer to the door not the centre console side.

 

Under the dash, above the clutch pedal (left hand drive) - closer to the door not the centre console side.

 

You cant miss it, its a large scart socket type plug which is coloured purple.

found now thanks just wasn't looking properly 

It's in the red area.
