Fuse relay mystery

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Our octavia won't start. Turn the key and nothing happens at all. Horn doesn't work and neither do the indicator or wiper stalks. Radio does work as does lights but nothing on the steering column basically.

Looked at fuse 27 checks out with multimeter and swapped it for another 15amp to make sure. All other fuses seem ok too?

Help!

nope that checks out too. It looks like a fuse but I cant find a dead one - have checked right side of dash fuses and battery fuses. Looked at fuses behind dash under steering wheel but dont know what i'm looking at tbh

first symptom was ABS dash warning then turned the key again and nothing

Immobiliser issue? Might not be though

Standard reply to any electrical problem seems to be to get a VCDS scan done, so that's what I would suggest - there's probably a member near you that can help.  Check out the location map here:

Evening, Did you figure what the problem was in the end with this. I've developed exact same symptoms.

You need to check the dates on posts you respond to.

Did you solve the problem? Can you tell me what was wrong? I have the same problem.
