Those shells look rather sad Steve, also you haven't kept the parts in order, you needed to label which lifter went with which cam lobe so it could all be reassembled correctly.

I know Steve, you're supposed to number them yourself when you dismantle it so that each lifter can be put back together with the lobe which it has worn to fit.

 

This is engine building 101 stuff Steve, I don't need a PD130 in front of me to know what I'm talking about.

If only there was a section specifically for this type of post*. Mods, can we have a new section please? Maybe some where near the bottom of the forum list and lets call it something obvious to even the most hard of thinking can understand what that section is for. Yes but the wear of each lobe will be matched to wear on lifters, swapping them around can cause uneven and premature wear, you should know this Steve!
