I've not removed a door car but a certain person in the know did give me some good advice for removing the leccy window switch cover.

You need a plastic bladed tool, I used the scraper that came with my Flymo, slot it in under the edge and slide it round to pop off the clips. Once the outer clips are released gently lift up the edge and look inside, you see will another clip at the back. Using a long screw driver give this clip a little push and hey presto it comes off without damage.

im sure Tfboy did a diagrammed description of how to fit speakers... i think it showed pics etc, but i cant find it... over to you Xav.

Took the door cards off and found the whole door workings are incased :eek:

Next drill out the rivets, seal between the case and the door, replace rivets.

I was lucky mine had bolts were yours is riveted.

Where do i get large rivets from. Looked in at halfords there too small :confused:

you can get all the parts you need from a skoda garage.

You must use the propper rivets or the carrier wont be done up correctly.
