Does anyone know what insurance would be for a 19yrold male, 1 years licence and 1 years no claims? I cant get an online quote for one, only cos it says VRS on the boot. I could get a quote for dads 130pd octy which was bout 2grand. :thumbdwn:

Maybe you could have a chat with walkie as he is close to your age and paid a fair bit.

Take vRS off the boot and take off the vRS alloys Much cheaper to insure

You could try Chris Knott but I think they only insure people aged 25+ on cars, Tesco, Norwich Union Direct, Elephant, Admiral, but you'll most likely have to ring them to discuss....

I can insure a PD100 Fabia for 1100. When you compare that to 1400 for my 1.4 ive got, it dosnt seem too bad...

I might ring Direct Line at some point. Maybe I could put a VRS engine into a PD100....Maybe thats why Jason went to all that trouble, his insurance was too high.

Surely you can do an online quote - I did before I bought mine - Elephant certainly have it on their site, so does confused.com, try one of them.

It's a Fabia vRS 1.9 TDI PD 130 (or something similar).
