disaster!

Featured Replies

has struck my beloved vrs , so this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down by a ****ing milkshake!

my son left a small chocolate milkshake in my car so the weekend was silly hot and its leaked unbeknownst to me until the sick smell started coming through.  luckily there was 2 coats and some camping bed sheets and pillow to soak up most the spillage , but alas it went on my seat,

Now ive used 1001 stain remover and a scotch bright upholstery car cleaner but still smells like a coach full of kids have been sick in my car,

Any ideas how i deep clean my baby and get this vile smell out?

Failing a DIY job, get it to a proffesional vallet shop mate.

Tablespoon or 2 of Bicarbonate of soda in a about a litre of warm water & a J cloth.

will bicarbonate of soda not damage the white part of the seat?

Didn't on my VRS, but the best thing to use is a Rug Doctor with the hand attatchment, which brought my absolutely minging VRS seats up like new.

It will have soaked into the sponge.

If it was me I would buy a good second hand one there are plenty being broken.

i think you are right soaked in, most the smell has gone just on the stitching now on one side,  one last bash today with bicarb concentrating on the stitching then it will be second hand seat.
