Thanks for the replies folks.
To be honest, I reckon I’d be using Google maps through CarPlay for navigation, but I just want to check, as it’s advertised as having nav.

Columbus stores map files into device and for upload can be used any SD Card or USB Stick

Ah, yes - talk of SD cards - completely forgot about the Columbus not needing 'em...........however, I'm thinking the SE Tech came with Amundsen?

New owner signing on....2016 2.0 TDI SE Executive....lovely motor, very impressed so far (well the last 2 days anyway!)...

One thing I've noticed on the past couple of frosty mornings is that the rear window heater is very slow...is this common to Superbs?  Or have I got a duff rear window element?

Mine's slow too

mine isn't super quick and anecdotally seems slower when my front screen is on too. but I guess jumping in the car on a wintry morning and bunging heated seat, front screen and back screen plus lights and all the other load, something has to give or there'd be no power to move the car forward 🙂

Mine’s quite slow too - the front screen heater is faster - but it does the job in the end

Hi all,

picking this one up on Friday so live photos will follow shorty.

Brand new 2022, 2.0. 150 HP diesel, lava blue, beige interior, premium package (the only higher option was L&K), with added sports suspension (10mm lower), progressive steering, rear view camera and heated sports steering wheel. Delivery took 6 months as stated when I placed the order end of August 2021.

Only thing missing will be installed shortly, diffusor from the sportline with fake chrome accents for better visual appearance. :)

Never heard about that program, I use obdeleven. How much a towbar costs?

Got to collect my car today, an iV in L&K trim with massage seats and area view as extras. My first hybrid car, felt strange driving home on pure electric but a lovely comfy and silent drive. Been bad weather here all day, so no chance yet for some nice pics.

Time to say goodbye to being a Skoda owner. Tomorrow I trade in my Superb L&K for an Audi A3...  My personal life has significantly changed whereby I no longer need such a huge car, so I decided I'd have a change in car as well. Having had 3 x Mk3 Superb Estates (SE Tech, then 2 L&Ks) I've loved every journey in them (and enlightened my passengers to what a great car they are!).

The local Skoda dealer offered decent money for it, but they didn't really have much I was interested in (Panoramic Roof was top of the list, as I've had one on my last 2 cars).

My 68 Plate L&K is going to a South London dealer who specialises in high spec motors and was pleasantly surprised at how 'loaded' the Superb was....

Many thanks for the hours of endless reading and information this site has provided ...  Look after yourselves!

New Superb owner here, 2016 SE L Executive 190.

Received on Tuesday night, no SH (96k on the clock) so in the garage all day yesterday (Volksmasters, Heywood) having full service, cambelt/waterpump and DSG gearbox service. Anything else I "need" to have done to avoid potentially costly repairs? Mechanic said it seemed like a sound car, no issues he could find other than slightly uneven tyre wear.

Updated the satnav DB from 2016 to 2022 this morning, and heading up to Edinburgh for the weekend tomorrow so it will get a proper run!

Give is a wave if you see us 😄

Hi and congrats! If no SH I would go with a brake fluid service too and you should  swap the cabin filter too. Enjoy the ride tomorrow!
