  • 66 was getting lonely and so we got her a WRC friend. Say hello to 88. We then popped round to Delcac's for a cupper and a 3 car photo opportunity. It's a rare sight seeing 3 WRC's together.

  • Delcac popped round to deliver a new seat cover. So we ventured to Brands Hatch to take a few pics.

  • She's back home after a two week holiday in the spray shop.

Hope you don't mind me photo bombing your project thread but thought I'd include a photo I took at Skodafest. I think this is Des's grille and your motor in the background.

Cool pic. You are correct Des's (73/100) and ours in the background (66/100)

Excellent work Pete. This is looking amazing.

So progress report. 88/100 has had absolutely no forward progress at all. Still in bits in the garage. We have however been enjoying 66/100 and using her lots. Well mrsgroup1rs has ! But today this happened as we could no longer stand the OEM audio any longer.

I like it, brand spanking new lights make a big difference especially when the originals are 14/15 odd years old. Good choice on the number plate as well!

CANT BEAT NEW LIGHTS :) good work you wrc geek

Agreed, especially with the way these new fangled plastic ones discolour and chip. The new ones more or less renew the whole front of the car.

So been collecting stuff to renew front and rear brakes. And also added a Neuspeed rear ARB. Also have replaced all shocks and subframe and lower arms ball joints etc. Cam belt and water pump also replaced the oil strainer and did the VR6 G60 Clutch and single mass conversion.Ohh and a cheeky Shark stage 1 map.

The Neuspeed 28 mm matches the R32 front I also have fitted. Also fitted a genuine drivers door mechanism as the £20 Ebay special only lasted 6months ! Lesson learned there !
