Seized bleed screws

Featured Replies

on both my rear brakes.  Garage said not to worry about it and drive normally, they will need doing eventually but fine at the moment.  Anyone else had this?  I've been pricing rear calipers for an 07 TFSi Vrs, price seems to vary from around £95 to over £140 per caliper.  Think I'll leave them until I've saved up a bit of money.

Cover in plusgas the night before and again in the morning, including taking the dust cap of and sprayung some done the hole in the top.

Bite a pair of molegrips down on them and shock them in the right direction.

Or if you don't like risk. Send them to a refurber as they are.

Noticed this on my VRS too, just about undone so I could get some fluid out, will change the whole lot for stainless steel ones soon.
