Be honest...Sat Nav systems.

Erm, are you guys missing something? We are blokes, we don't need maps, we don't need sat nav, we have our own instincts and they are usually correct. Take the time I went to Jason, quick look at a map before I went, didn't even need to bother, just headed in the correct direction and got there fine. Well except the last 200 metres, its hardly my fault that his house isn't exactly well signed.

Trust your feelings and you will get there.

I use mine evrytime I am in the car. It is also a mobile phone and so I just put it in the charger and the Bluetooth connections are made. I have it on in order to tell me where the cameras are. Even if I know the route the warning makes me check my speedo to make sure.

I use mine if I'm going somewhere I haven't been before. Bought it when I was rolling ou software to 126 sites and needed to vist my project team - saved having 126 office location maps floating round the car :) Also use it as Colin does, it is my co-driver and I can zoom in and "read" the road ahead at night as a form of pace notes, also use it if m-way is jammed and I need to dive off to avoid traffic.

I've also used it on drive-out type meets - programme in a route before I leave and I can then lead the slow group round a set route on my own (for some reason no-one wants to passenger me, must be that I drive too slow :D )

Very useful!

I've just bought a TT Go 300 and must admit I'm really impressed. I don't do a massive amount of travelling at the moment with work but as an example yesterday I was in Lincoln and the TT took me door to door. Was most impressed. I would say it would be really useful once or twice a month for work on average.

What I found really useful with it though was last weekend when we decided to go out with the kids to a forest up near Gateshead / Consett way. As we'd never been before we'd normally have had to dig the map out but with the sat nav just punch it in and away you go.

I travel weekly through work and now use it every time and it's not got me lost yet!

The rerouting and camera locations are awesome and the ability to see potential hazards before arriving at them is useful.

It is in addition to a map though - I plan my route to the general location then follow it rather than follow it all the way
